Every day in this life, we face challenges or problems that overwhelm us and cause discouragement. These “problems”, new life experiences lessened or alleviated through our determination and discipline. Sometimes, the solution is hidden within the so-called problem.

This perception results in a psychological web of frustration, doubt, anxiety, and fear. While this is happening, our thoughts hold us in captivity. When this happens, we pay attention to the “PROBLEM” and miss seeing the solution hidden within the “PROBLEM.”

This book will give us a new perspective on the word PROBLEM – “Push, Rest, Open-up, Balance, Let-go, Evaluate and Monitor, PROBLEM.

The goal of this book is to help us identify areas or an area in our lives that need attention. Recognition of this area of neglect could be the way out of the issue.

About The Book


This book takes us on a journey that is filled with ideas on how to overcome issues by practicing seven principles from different perspectives as it encourages readers to identify at lest one area that can help us to exit crisis thinking and nurture a healthier and more meaningful life.

About Rolando

Rolando is a husband and a father that was born on the western Caribbean island of Jamaica. He attended the Excelsior High School but ended his high school years with no merits to show. He then went on to acquire his first Bachelor of Arts degree from Northern Caribbean University as a mature age student. Upon completion, he immigrated to Canada two years later where he acquired a Master of Arts degree in Psychotherapy from Wilfrid Laurier in Waterloo, Ontario. He has been actively involved in the field of mental health and addiction for the past 10 years and is currently a Canadian Certified Counselor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association and a doctoral student at California Southern University. He is also the owner and founder of Therapeutic Intervention Psychotherapy Services Inc that was founded in 2013. He is passionate about therapy and has written this book as a practical approach to therapy as observed in his role as a clinician and from evidence-based research. He aims to direct readers to discover practical working solutions for overcoming psychological barriers in everyday life.
